Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 45-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Highland improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Basha (Chandler, AZ) to confront the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-0. Basha won 66-7 in their recent non-league test against Westwood (Mesa, AZ)

With the loss, Mountain Ridge drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mountain lions host Chandler (Chandler, AZ) to confront the Wolves in a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 1-0. Chandler won 56-6 in their recent non-league test against Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ)
