The Interboro Buccaneers football team (Prospect Park, PA), was beaten 28-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA)

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Springfield (Springfield, PA). The Cougars come into the Central challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Springfield achieved victory over Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA), 50-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pottstown for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. Interboro will meet a Trojans team coming off a 14-8 non-league win over Martin Luther King (Philadelphia, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
