August 25, 2023: Greenwood, MS 38930 The Pillow Academy Mustangs football team (Greenwood, MS), was ripped 42-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS)
The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Silliman Institute (Clinton, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Silliman Institute trounced Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson Prep for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Pillow Academy will meet a Patriots team coming off a 24-12 non-league win over Adams County Christian (Natchez, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
