In Friday's non-league game, the Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) football team smashed the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), by a score of 74-22.

The Demons (1-0) will now prepare for their game against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles come into the 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, East Union overwhelmed Sidney (Sidney, IA), 53-30, in a non-league game.
