August 25, 2023: Sheldon, IA 51201 Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), 26-6 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sheldon improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Orabs travel to South O'Brien (Paullina, IA) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 0-1. South O'Brien lost 20-9 in their recent non-league test against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA)
With the loss, Sibley-Ocheyedan drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA) to battle the Westerners in a A District 1 test on Friday, September 1. The Westerners come into the test with a record of 0-1. Akron-Westfield lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Ridge View (Holstein, IA)
