In Friday's non-league game, the Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA) football team smashed the host Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA), by a final score of 42-0.

The Broncs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Bears come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Arvin was trounced by Shafter (Shafter, CA), 43-16, in a non-league game.
