August 25, 2023: Box Elder, SD The crowd at Friday's league test between the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) and the host Douglas/Rapid City Christian Patriot Comets (Box Elder, SD), saw Yankton's soccer squad triumph over Douglas/Rapid City Christian by a count of 7-0.
The Bucks/Gazelles now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Spearfish for a Class AA test on Saturday, August 26. Yankton will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 2-2 league O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 3-0.
