Wisconsin High School Soccer - Pewaukee nudges Waukesha North
August 25, 2023: Pewaukee, WI 53072 Pewaukee Pirates (Pewaukee, WI) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Waukesha North Northstars (Waukesha, WI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the Greendale Panthers (Greendale, WI) in a Woodland challenge, on Monday, August 28. Pewaukee will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Brookfield East (Brookfield, WI).
The Northstars now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kettle Moraine for a Classic Eight challenge on Tuesday, August 29. Waukesha North will confront a Lasers team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Oak Creek (Oak Creek, WI). The Lasers record now stands at 1-0.
