August 25, 2023: Denver City, TX 79323 The Denver City Mustangs topped the visiting Southcrest Christian volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alpine for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Denver City will confront a Bucks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Pecos (Pecos, TX). The Bucks record now stands at 14-5.
The (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Childress (Childress, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Childress was knocked off by Big Spring (Big Spring, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
