Texas High School Volleyball - Freer can't hold off Lyford
August 25, 2023: Freer, TX 78357 In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Lyford Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Freer Buckaroos.
The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Banquete (Banquete, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Banquete was edged by Gonzales (Gonzales, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Buckaroos clash with the Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 25. Freer will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX).
