California High School Flag Football - Los Altos can't hold off La Mirada
August 25, 2025: Hacienda Heights, CA 91745 La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Los Altos Conquerors (Hacienda Heights, CA), 13-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, La Mirada advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Matadores travel to Glenn (Norwalk, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Glenn lost 20-14 in their recent non-league battle against Western (Anaheim, CA)
The Conquerors now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Charter Oak for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. Los Altos will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 24-6 non-league loss to Glendora (Glendora, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.
