Pennsylvania High School Football - Hickory thwarted by Farrell
August 25, 2025: Farrell, PA 16121 Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA), 13-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Farrell advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Steelers host Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) to confront the Fighting Irish in a non-league match on Saturday, September 6. The Fighting Irish come into the match with a record of 1-0. Ursuline won 28-22 in their recent non-league match against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH)
Coming up next, the Hornets confront the Central Tech Falcons (Erie, PA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 20. Hickory will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
