Kentucky High School Soccer - Ironton nudges Russell
August 25, 2025: Russell, KY 41169 In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers soccer team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Russell Red Devils.
With the triumph, Ironton moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Fighting Tigers host Capital (Charleston, WV) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Red Devils now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Carter for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28.
