August 25, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28277 Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cuthbertson upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to meet the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Porter Ridge won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC)
Next, the Wolves meet the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, August 27. Ballantyne Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC).
