With the win, Betsy Layne advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bobcats host Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY) to face the Blackcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 8. The Blackcats go into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Cavaliers now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Belfry for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 16.
