August 25, 2025: Griffith, IN 46319 Calumet Christian Patriots (Griffith, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Calumet Christian improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Patriots host Heritage Christian (Dyer, IN) to face the Defenders in a test on Tuesday, August 26. The Defenders go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Oilers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chicago Washington for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. Whiting will face a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
