August 25, 2025: Minneapolis, MN Fans at Monday's league battle between the Humboldt Hawks (St. Paul, MN) and the host Hiawatha Collegiate (Minneapolis, MN), saw Humboldt's soccer squad hold off Hiawatha Collegiate by a count of 1-0.
The Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Fridley was edged by St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN), 4-0, in a non-league match.
The now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minneapolis South for a non-league match on Wednesday, August 27. Hiawatha Collegiate will meet a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Cristo Rey Jesuit (Minneapolis, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
