August 25, 2025: Marietta, GA 30062 In Monday's non-league test, the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA), by a tally of 12-4.
With the triumph, Walton improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Raiders host Marietta (Marietta, GA) to face the Blue Devils in a 6A Region 5 contest on Tuesday, August 26. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Marietta lost 16-0 in their recent league contest against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA)
The Spartans now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Osborne for a 6A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, August 26. Campbell will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 22-2 league loss to South Cobb (Austell, GA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
