Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Chaparrals clash with the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 28. Aubrey will attempt to advance on its 12-1 season record.

With the loss, Bowie drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Volunteers travel to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to clash with the Warriors in a 6A Region I District 8 match on Friday, September 10. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 8-10.
