With the win, El Monte upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Covina (Covina, CA) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Monday, August 30. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Covina lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA)
