In Friday's non-league match, the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders football squad scored a close 35-31 victory over the Sun Valley Spartans.

In their next game, the Wonders clash with the Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. A.L. Brown will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Ravens enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 29-12 non-league loss to Olympic (Charlotte, NC).
