August 26, 2022: West Grove, PA 19390 The Avon Grove Red Devils football team (West Grove, PA), was knocked off 28-16 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA)
The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennett (Kennett Square, PA). The Blue Demons come into the Ches-Mont - American challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Kennett was knocked off by Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA), 37-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Penn Wood for a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. Avon Grove will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 66-6 non-league loss to Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
