August 26, 2022: Clayton, AL 36016 The Calhoun Tigers (Letohatchee, AL) football defeated the host Barbour County Jaguars (Clayton, AL), 26-8 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Billingsley Bears (Billingsley, AL) in a 1A Region 4 bout, on Friday, September 2. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 25-14 non-league loss to Prattville Christian Academy (Prattville, AL).
The Jaguars (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Luverne (Luverne, AL). The Tigers enter the 2A Region 3 bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Luverne lost by Geneva County (Hartford, AL), 14-7, in a non-league bout.
