In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Briar Woods Falcons football squad scored a good 42-13 victory over the Broad Run Spartans.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the John Champe (Aldie, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 1. Briar Woods will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 42-34 non-league loss to Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA).

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Titans enter the Dulles match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Dominion dropped by Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA), 41-7, in a non-league match.
