In Friday's non-league game, the Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL) football team knocked off the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), by a score of 45-27.

The Hurricanes (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Springstead (Spring Hill, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Springstead toppled Tavares (Tavares, FL), 51-0, in a non-league game.
