August 26, 2022: Charlottesville, VA 22901 Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 42-6 in a league test.
With the triumph, Western Albemarle improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-0. Rockbridge County won 32-29 in their recent non-league test against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA)
With the loss, Charlottesville drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 0-1. James Monroe lost 35-14 in their recent non-league test against Stafford (Falmouth, VA)
