South Carolina High School Football - Northwestern topples Clover

August 26, 2022: Clover, SC 29710

The Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) football defeated the host Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), 32-21 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Northwestern will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 31-20 non-league win over Airport (West Columbia, SC).

The Blue Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Rams enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Hillcrest defeated Greer (Greer, SC), 62-14, in a non-league bout.
