In Friday's non-league match, the host Cypress Springs Panthers football squad scored a good 28-12 victory over the Fort Bend Bush Broncos.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Cypress Springs will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 54-20 non-league win over Cleburne (Cleburne, TX).

The Broncos (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Magnolia West ran past Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX), 28-10, in a non-league match.
