North Carolina High School Football - South Point trounces East Gaston

August 26, 2022: Belmont, NC 28012

In Friday's non-league match, the host South Point Red Raiders football squad scored a big 48-6 victory over the East Gaston Warriors.

In their next game, the Red Raiders clash with the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. South Point will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 43-37 non-league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC).

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Stuart W. Cramer routed Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 48-28, in a non-league match.
