August 26, 2022: Waynesville, NC 28786

In Friday's non-league match, the host Tuscola Mountaineers football squad scored a big 56-14 victory over the East Rutherford Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Mountaineers clash with the Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Tuscola will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 56-30 non-league win over Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC).

The Cavaliers (0-2) will now prepare for their match against McDowell (Marion, NC). The Titans enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, McDowell was crushed by Mitchell (Bakersville, NC), 34-16, in a non-league match.
