The Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) football routed the visiting South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 43-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vaqueros face the Bishop Union Broncos (Bishop, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Fernley will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Broncos enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 57-0 non-league win over Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA).

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Buckaroos enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record.
