The Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) football routed the visiting Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR), 55-20 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Go-Devils face the Foreman Gators (Foreman, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Gurdon will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Gators enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 32-24 non-league loss to Horatio (Horatio, AR).

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Junction City (Junction City, AR). The Dragons enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Junction City was crushed by Harmony Grove (Camden, AR), 39-0, in a non-league bout.
