In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Riverdale Falcons football squad scored a close 36-35 victory over the Hardin Northern Polar Bears.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Cory-Rawson Hornets (Rawson, OH) in a Blanchard Valley match, on Friday, September 2. Riverdale will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 53-7 non-league loss to Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH).

The Polar Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Ada (Ada, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Ada was nudged by Arlington (Arlington, OH), 38-22, in a non-league match.
