In Friday's non-league match, the host Somerset Bulldogs football squad scored a good 42-14 victory over the Highlands Owls.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Southside Cardinals (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Somerset will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 59-12 non-league win over Crockett (Austin, TX).
