California High School Football - Sierra topples Kern Valley

The Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) football defeated the host Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA), 37-28 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Chieftains face the Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Sierra will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Badgers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 57-0 non-league loss to Bishop Union (Bishop, CA).

The Broncs (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Bears enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Arvin lost by Shafter (Shafter, CA), 20-19, in a league bout.
