North Carolina High School Football - Winston-Salem Prep felled by Lake Norman Charter

In Friday's non-league game, the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) football team were victorious over the visiting Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC), by a score of 34-14.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Crusaders come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Christ the King knocked off Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 27-12, in a non-league game.

The Phoenix now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkland for a non-league game on Friday, September 2. Winston-Salem Prep will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
