The Millry Wildcats football team (Millry, AL), was tipped 20-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Linden Patriots (Linden, AL)

The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Keith (Orrville, AL). The Bears come into the 1A Region 3 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Keith nipped Dallas County (Plantersville, AL), 28-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Southern Choctaw for a 1A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, September 1. Millry will meet a Indians team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to Blacksher (Uriah, AL). The Indians record now stands at 0-1.
