The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA) and the host Warren Dragons (Warren, PA), observed Oil City's football squad bounce Warren by a count of 58-24.

The Oilers now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Corry for a non-league contest on Friday, September 2. Oil City will play a Beavers squad coming off a 55-6 non-league loss to Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Beavers record now stands at 0-1.
