The St. Pius X Panthers football team (Houston, TX), was knocked off 35-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Second Baptist Eagles (Houston, TX)

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Prestonwood Christian was knocked off by Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX), 28-7, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kelly Catholic for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 2. St. Pius X will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to East Chambers (Winnie, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
