Georgia High School Softball - Allatoona gets by Hillgrove
August 26, 2022: Acworth, GA 30101 The Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) softball nipped the visiting Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA), 6-5 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Buccaneers (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Kell (Marietta, GA). The Longhorns go into the non-league bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Kell was edged by North Springs (Atlanta, GA), 2-1, in a league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Northside for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. Hillgrove will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-4.
