Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Paulding for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 26. Pickens will battle a Wolfpack squad coming off a 12-3 league win over Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Carrollton falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to East Paulding (Dallas, GA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 27.
