August 26, 2022: Twin City, GA 30471 The Lambert Longhorns softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs to 1 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Lambert improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Longhorns host West Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to clash with the Wolverines in a 7A Region 6 game on Tuesday, August 30. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 7-3. West Forsyth lost 13-6 in their recent non-league game against North Forsyth (Cumming, GA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Hebron Christian Academy Lions (Dacula, GA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 27. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Elbert County (Elberton, GA).
