Texas High School Volleyball - Cleburne Rains
August 26, 2022: Emory, TX 75440 The Rains Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cleburne Yellowjackets to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poteet for a non-league game on Saturday, August 27. Rains will meet a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 9-9.
The Yellowjackets (0-14) will now prepare for their game against Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Cougars enter the 5A Region I District 8 game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Seguin was dropped by Adams (Dallas, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
