August 26, 2022: Abilene, TX 79605 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX) and the host Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX), saw Shallowater's volleyball squad beat Cooper by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Shallowater upgrades its record to 21-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Dumas (Dumas, TX) to play the Demons in a non-league bout on Friday, August 26. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Dumas won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Coronado (Lubbock, TX)
The Cougars now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Monterey for a non-league bout on Friday, August 26. Cooper will play a Plainsmen squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Canyon (Canyon, TX). The Plainsmen record now stands at 13-5.
