August 26, 2022: Dumas, TX 79029 The Monterey Plainsmen volleyball team (Lubbock, TX), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Dumas Demons (Dumas, TX)
The Demons (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Shallowater (Shallowater, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 19-2 record. In their last challenge, Shallowater defeated Plainview (Plainview, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Plainsmen meet the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 26. Monterey will attempt to move on its 13-7 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX).
