The Cedar Grove Panthers thwarted the host Ramsey Rams football team by a count of 34-7 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Cedar Grove upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ) to encounter the Ridgers in a Super - National Red outing on Friday, September 1. The Ridgers go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Glen Ridge lost 43-15 in their recent non-league outing against Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ)

With the loss, Ramsey moves to 0-1 on the season. The Rams host Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 31.
