August 26, 2023: Louisville, KY 40206 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Sacred Heart Valkyries (Louisville, KY) and the visiting St. Ursula Academy Bulldogs (Cincinnati, OH), saw Sacred Heart's soccer squad knock off St. Ursula Academy by a margin of 5-2.
The Valkyries now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a District 27 test on Monday, August 28. Sacred Heart will meet a Red Hawks squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Central (Louisville, KY). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, St. Ursula Academy drops to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Mercy McAuley (Cincinnati, OH) to meet the Wolves in a Girls Greater Catholic test on Wednesday, August 30. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 1-1.
