Nevada High School Soccer - Elko nudges Reno
August 26, 2023: Reno, NV 89509 Elko Indians (Elko, NV) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Reno Huskies (Reno, NV), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians face the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a challenge, on Friday, September 1. Elko will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Vaqueros enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV).
The Huskies now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Carson for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 28. Reno will face a Senators team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Hug (Reno, NV). The Senators record now stands at 0-2.
