August 26, 2023: Shelbyville, KY 40065 Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rockets confront the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Shelby County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
The Flyers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Western Hills for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 29. Franklin County will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Scott County (Georgetown, KY). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.
