August 26, 2023: Woodstock, IL 60098 The Woodstock North Thunder volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Dundee-Crown Chargers to 0 in the Thunder non-league victory on Saturday.
The Thunder now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampshire for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Woodstock North will meet a Whip-Purs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Jacobs (Algonquin, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 1-1.
The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, North Boone dropped by Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
